WeConnectPatients.com
Here's exactly what you're signing up for.
WeConnect is Takeda's patient registry for clinical trials. Think of it as adding your name to a contact list — not a clinical study, not a commitment. Just a way for us to reach you when something relevant comes up.
How WeConnect actually works.
Four steps. No appointments. No pressure.
Create your profile
Fill out a brief registration form — your name, contact information, and some basic details about your health and condition. This typically takes about 10 minutes. No medical records needed. No referral required. You can complete this on any device with internet access. Nothing you need to collect or prepare in advance.
We do the matching
We compare your profile against Takeda's open clinical trials across more than 60 conditions (as of early 2026). When something looks like it could be relevant — based on your condition, location, and health history — we flag it.
We reach out
If a trial looks like a potential fit, we'll contact you — usually by email. We explain what the trial is, what participation involves, where it's located, and who to contact for more information. We use plain language. We give you the information you need to make your own decision.
You decide
You are never obligated to do anything. Read the information. Ask questions. Talk to your doctor. Say no. Say maybe. Come back in six months. Your registration stays active until you choose to change it.
Let's be specific about what this is.
Clarity upfront matters more than a polished pitch.
WeConnect IS:
- A free patient registry run by Takeda.
- A matching service — we compare your profile to open clinical trials and contact you when something fits.
- A notification system, not a medical provider. We connect you to information. We don't provide medical advice, diagnose anything, or recommend treatments.
- Opt-out at any time. No explanation needed. No penalty. No follow-up pressure.
WeConnect is NOT:
- An enrollment form. Registering is not the same as agreeing to participate in a trial.
- A clinical trial. You are not in a study by joining the registry.
- A database that gets sold. Your information stays in Takeda's systems and is used for one purpose.
- A spam list. We contact you when something relevant exists. That's it.
Privacy & Control
What happens to your information — in plain language.
When you register, you share your name, contact details, and information about your health — your condition, how long you've had it, your general health history, and where you're located. We use this to match your profile to open Takeda clinical trials.
Your information stays within Takeda's secure systems. We don't sell your information or share it publicly. Its primary use is connecting you to relevant Takeda clinical trials. For full details, see Takeda's Privacy Policy.
You can update your information at any time. If your health situation changes — new diagnosis, new treatment, new location — log in and adjust your profile. If you want to leave the registry entirely, you can do that too.
One important distinction: if you're matched to a trial and decide to learn more, you'll go through a separate informed consent process with the research team — where they explain what participation involves and you decide whether to enroll. That process is entirely distinct from your WeConnect registration. Registration does not constitute consent to any study.
Questions about signing up.
How long does registration take?
About 10 minutes. Name, contact details, health questions, preferred contact method. That's the full scope of it.
What health information do you need?
Your condition, how long you've had it, any current treatments, and your general location. We don't need your medical records, test results, or insurance information. Nothing you need to collect or prepare in advance.
Will I be matched to a trial right away?
Not necessarily. Matching depends on which Takeda trials are actively recruiting in your area and how your profile fits their eligibility criteria. Some people hear from us quickly. Others may be in the registry for months before a relevant trial opens. Either way, your profile is active and we're looking.
How will you contact me?
By email, unless you specify otherwise during registration. We will not call you without your consent.
What if my health situation changes?
Update your profile whenever something changes. New diagnosis, new treatment, remission, relapse, change in location — any of it can affect which trials are relevant to you. Log in and adjust any time.
Ready?
Registration takes about 10 minutes. We'll take it from there.
